Gobble Gobble… It is coming… Down again this week.  Three weeks and 4.6 pounds… It is slow going but it is happening… I feel like Shonnie with hating the slow pace of the last amount.  I just wish it was over.  But I am not working hard enough to get it over with.  Gotta double up on the hard work.  Had a sore toe and stopped running. Getting back to that this week as the Turkey Trot race in Washington is staring me in the face.  I have to focus and part of that is writing more.  I need to post a few times this week in order to get myself focused on the task ahead.  Hope you are all doing well with the Turkey Challenge.  I will have to post some results so far this week.

  1. I didn’t know you had been running. Just remember, if you are exercising, those dormant muscles are getting bigger thus gaining weight.

    So the slowdown on the scale isn’t an indication of slower fat loss, but an indication that muscle weight is outpacing the fat loss. Overall, great work, but it is frustrating when the scale slows.

    I’ve dropped 3 pounds since the challenge started. Well not really. I lost 4, then gained 10, and I’ve lost 9 of the 10 I gained but that is 3 from when the challenge started. 😀

    I know what you mean — I hate how slow it can get!! I have lost 8 pounds since we started … not counting the massive pop up just before we started to 192.8 or it would be over 15 pounds. I’m just going by the official weigh in of 185. I am 186.8 this am … a trickle down. BOO HISS!
